Career Pilot Program

Do you want a career as a helicopter pilot ? Do you want to know that you will be offered paid flying work on completion of your flying training ?

Then our Career Pilot Program will be of definite interest. At the end of your professional training you will be offered a mix of Commercial Charter, Photographic Flights, Pleasure Flying and Instructional work.

Designed specifically for those individuals wanting a career as a helicopter pilot, the training also involves a structured hour building package and offers a minimum of 80hrs paid flying work for those candidates enrolled onto the course and who complete the course to the satisfaction of the Chief Pilot.

How it works

In summary it works like this:

You do your Private Pilots Licence with us.

You do your hour building, which includes specific destinations, routes and challenges. During this hour building phase, while don't forget, there are the CPL/ATPL exams to pass, you also do an R44 and a B206 type rating.

You then do the 35 hour CPL flight training course.

On successfully passing the CPL flight test you will then be what is called 'base and line checked'. These are additional in house company flight tests that allow you to take on flying work. Initially this will be on the R44, and you will be offered paid work as a commercial pilot doing pleasure flights and photographic flights in the local area.

At the same time you continue building your hours to 250, and then do an FI course with us.

On completion of the FI skills test, instructional work will be offered to you.
