Your helicopter pleasure flight will depart from Turweston aerodrome. On this exciting flight you will fly over Stowe School and Silverstone race circuit, home of the Formula One British Grand Prix before landing back at Turweston.

Stowe school opened in 1923 and is based in Stowe House formerly the seat country of the Dukes of Buckingham and Chandos. The gardens and part of the extensive park are owned by the National Trust. The house we see today we completely rebuilt in the late 17th century and has been host to British and foreign aristocrats and royalty as well as two future US presidents, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, the second and the third presidents.

Former students of Stowe School or Old Stoics as they are referred to include Sir Richard Branson, actors David Niven and Henry Cavill of Superman fame, Prince Rainier of Monaco, Christopher Robin Milne, son of A. A. Milne, along the many numerous politicians, diplomats, athletes, actors, musicians and Aristocrats.

The Silverstone circuit is on the site of a World War II Royal Air Force bomber station, RAF Silverstone, which opened in 1943, look closely and you can still see the three runways from this time. The British Grand Prix was first hosted here in 1948.
