A place of myths, legends, waterfalls and giants! Snowdonia has them all in abundance. From the picturesque setting of the Riverside Inn at Bettws y Coed you will fly over Chapel Garmon, with its Neolithic burial site then on to Fairy Glen, a secluded and enchanting gorge. You will pass over Conwy Falls, on the Conwy River; being a salmon river the falls have ladders to help the fish reach the top.
Its then on to Dolwyddelan and its ancient castle before heading north to Capel Curig, a mecca for walkers, climbers and because of its beauty many artists including Turner. We then head back to the Conwy River and Llanrwst home to the giant Ifan Groch, who would sit on the mountain and bathe his feet in the river below. Before we land back at Bettws we pass over the famous Swallow Falls on the Llugwy River, the highest continuous waterfall in Wales.
