It is not only the stunning scenery that attracts many visitors, from the Horseshoe pass winding it's way to the top of the mountains to the mighty River Dee carving it's way through the valley below, but the many myths and legends of King Aurhtur that surround the area. There is Valle Crucis Abbey believed by many to be the 'real' Glastonbury and famously painted by Turner and high above the town on a craggy outcrop Castle Dinas Bran rumoured to have the Holy Grail hidden within its walls!
