On the 10th November Whizzard flew Santa Claus, Miss Santa and an elf to Stapeley Water Gardens at Nantwich.  Santa then signed autographs for the children, and with our Jetranger we then took over 100 people on short pleasure flights to see the views from the air.  All the kids had a great time !

On Tuesday 30th October Mr Bill Dykes had his first flying lesson in the R44 helicopter, he did extremely well at flying the machine and thoroughly enjoyed it and with clear blue skies and the leaves turning colour he couldn’t have picked a better day! Thanks for the photos Bill.

Helitech 2007

September 30th, 2007

Several of our pilots from Whizzard are flying down to Duxford on Wednesday the 3rd October, so we will be posting their pictures and comments on the event when they return.

Welcome to Whizzard’s new site!

September 30th, 2007

Thanks for visiting us, and we think that our new site has lots of improvements.

You can now buy any of our pleasure flights and trial lesson gift vouchers online.

But just as importantly, if you email us your photos and comments after your flight, we will post them on this blog for all your friends and family and other site visitors to see.

We will be updating the site at regular intervals and adding news of forthcoming events and stories posted by students training with us to show their progress.

So that all of us who enjoy flying at Welshpool, and flying helicopters in particular, will be kept in the picture.
